Constant pain in the right temple that has last for a month

I am a 20 year old college sophomore that has just recently developed a headache that has last for a month now. It is a constant dull pain in the right temple that can suddenly increase to a severe pain at any given time. It does not travel to any other part of the head and I am extremely tired all the time. I just got off being sick with a wheezing cough a week before this headache appeared. It is often severe when I try to sleep. I don't know if this is just a migraine and decided to see what others thought before going to the doctors. Thanks for reading this!

Temporal arteritis, internal ear infection, TMJ and tooth decay can all cause a temple pain.
Infection in the eye, glaucoma, near and far sightedness and sinusitis are the other causes.

Are you having any vision problems with these headache's? Blurry Vision, Double Vision? Seeing any flashing lights? If you are go the an ophthalmologits. If you are spending a lot of time on the computer and reading they could be aggravated by that. Any changes in your diet? I think if it continues you should see a dr.
