lump in tummy

I am 17 and i have been having this... thing for as long as i can remember. when i lay down (usually on my tummy) and breathe in, i can feel this lump moving up my tummy. starting towards my belly button then slowly makes it was up to the bottom of my rib cage. I can also do this when laying on my back, but i have to apply force onto my tummy to feel it move. I have NO clue on that it is, or if its healthy. Is it a muscle or fat? is it bad?

Not sure. Your best bet would be to talk to your doctor about ut.

Do you have a regular doctor you go to? If possible, I would ask the doctor to feel that lump you are feeling and tell you what it is. If the doctor is not sure, s/he might order an x-ray to help figure it out.

At your age, what you are feeling is most likely harmless, but you should definitely get it checked out.
