Chest pain & a lot of pressure.

Hi, I have a quick question. I am 50yr old female I woke up this am with pressure right under
my breast bone. Its now been a couple of hours now and now I have a lot, lot of pain in the middle of my
back its like crushing pain, And it is in my jaw. I thinks its heart burn should I take some more anti-acid I have
maylox and tums.....either isn't working :( So should I just go back to bed and lay down & wait for it to
pass or go away......... also its a little hard to breathe,  Or should I call the doctor in which I can not afford. Any suggestions, do I have
anything to worry about? First I thought it was my heart, but I don't have pain going down my arm. So I figure
I'm safe.
Please if someone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Cold milk and antacid should calm down a heart burn. If still there is no relief go to the ER for EKG, and to rule out gall bladder, liver and pancreatic involvement. Take care!

Lay down as you said , drink water only, it will pass, it could be gall bladder related , if it feels really like a heart issue go into the ER ASAP
