some kind of bug..

Hi i really need some help this all began in july 2010 me and my 2 children were complaining of something biting us. It is painful and very itchy the feet seem to hurt the most. I can even feel them in the shower. When i bathe my 2 year old he yells bug bite him. He is scared to bathe now. I have noticed when i wipe our skin with a paper towel some black dots are on the paper towel. Im not sure if its bedbugs or what i noticed they are on other surfaces of the house and they are on our clothes i have tried everything to get rid of them i cant afford to have a exterinator come in please help me. I even had to go to a crisis center to see if there was something wrong with me mentally but the doctor cleared me and said that i am not crazy. I have lost a lot of sleep and im out of ideas.

Do you have pets?  The 1st thing that I thought of was fleas... and the black dots might be flea dirt?  Even if you don't have pets, you could possibly have "human fleas". With any kind of flea, whether it's a cat/dog flea or the human flea, the flea bites are usually on the arms or legs of humans.
"Human flea bites generally occur along the ankles and lower portions of the legs. A flea bite can usually be described as a red spot accompanied by a halo of redness that can last for several hours depending on one's reaction to it. It may cause a slight irritation or itch in some people while others with extreme allergies will sometimes break out into hives and have excessive swelling. Children tend to have more sensitive skin and so flea bites seen in children are usually more severe than in adults."

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The black dots could be insects that get attracted towards light, pollens or any other bugs. Since they are there all over the house, vacuum clean the house and close it up well. This may help. Otherwise consult a doctor. Take care!

You can try buying lice bedding spray and spray your house, if these are sometype of insect then the spray should help to get rid of them. Be sure to bag all clothing and bedding into plastic bags for several days and wash what you can not bag in very hot water.
