strange internal sensation

i have noticed for the past year i have been experiencing a feeling of a single heartbeat that starts in the middle of my chest, it seems almost like a spring effect feeling, that will run through parts of body and end in my fingertips--i feel this at all times lying down, sitting up, standing walking etc. i try to explain it as a "boingy feeling" like a spring being pulled and let go of, what you would expect it to feel like, i have searched for someone else who has this problem and have come up empty handed. i have ruled out most diseases thru the computer and have a very hard time explaining it to doctors. i do not have any pain when this happens, it comes and goes from day to day, days that i do have it, it recurs many times throughout the day, not sure if the headaches are related to this or if it may be caused by my antidepressant celexa, klonopins for anxiety do not make it go away (they make it more mild) i had a doctor put me on xanax for anxiety and that seemed to keep it at bay, most doctors will not prescribe xanax, and since i can't describe this i am unable to find a cure or even what it is. if anyone has similar symptons please advise, feeling very frustrated-which does not help with my anxiety or depression

Hello,

Most probably this can be a premature beat.Premature beat are of two types-atrial and ventricular. Premature atrial contractions are a type of premature heart beat which start in the upper two chambers of the heart, also called atria. These aren't as serious as a Premature Ventricular Contraction and usually require no medical care.

Ventricular premature beats are extra beats that cause an irregularity or abnormality in the usual rhythm of the heart. These extra beats are known as a premature ventricular complexes.Their cause is unknown.Diagnosed by ECG or holter monitoring for 24 hrs.

I feel that you should consult a cardiologist and get Holter monitoring done.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.
