strange bruising on thighs

I am almost 37 years old and I have also been experiencing bruising only on my thighs. This started about 4 years ago, comes and goes but lately its been at its worst. I have gone to an allergist who says its vasculitis. I can feel the bruises coming with an itching sensation, a burning sensation and then a large bruise appears in red, black and blue. They are painful to the touch but otherwise don't hurt, they are just ugly to look at! I have lost a little weight in the last 6 months, about 5 pounds, I am only 4'11" so that is kind of signifigant. I am often fatigued and this is all becoming a huge concern for me. Any opinions would be helpful. Thanx.

unfortunately, I think you should go to the doctor and check for cancerous cells. This sounds a little fishy.

I would recommend you go to your regular doctor and get a complete blood count (CBC) run to check for any blood disorders.
