swelling body without pain

Dear sir/madam
My name is marilena Tsironi and i live in Corfu Greece with my family. My mother has a problem with her health from youth until today. she is 63 years old and she has problem with detention of fluids in her body and swelling (sorry for my english). There are some days or weeks that she will be ok but some other weeks or days that she will start to swelling first in her belly, legs, and after arms and face. normally she is 55 kg but when she's swelling she can get 10 kg in 4 days. She has been to doctors and they can't find anything except that she has detention of fluids but they don't know what causes it! When she is swelling she can't wear her clothes.She HAS NO PAIN she can

I am reading alot on this forum about things like what I have been through and still going through----I swell organs shut down--etc and I am only 33 years old---- I have had around thirty surgeries and not until the last four did they realize that I had severe Scare tissue that when looked at it looked as though someone poured white concrete into my belly----it attached to the organs and began shutting them down---which meant they went in and had to seperate all of them......has you mother had surgeries in the past that could cause some scare tissue----it will not show up on x-rays etc-----the only way they found out what it was was to do exploratory surgery on me-----keep me posted

Hi my name is Traci. I have the body swelling also, and no one can pin pint it. I swell in my belly then legs and soon everything swells. At times I fell as if my kidneys do not function, but some days it is good. I have blood pressure problems, and was just today put on a second (BP) pill in the afternoons. I get to where I cannot breath also when I am so swelled with fluids that I cant harldy function.
My heart is fine, my thyroid is fine, but enlarged, and I wish I had an answer to this as well..........I will keep you informed as I get answers and please do the same if you receive any....

I know the feeling on not having answers----I went for about 2 years with out knowing anything----all kids of medication was given to me---sent here sent there----it wears on your nerves emotions family everything------it has been four years since I have been diagnosed with severe scar tissue and since then I have had 6 out of 30 major surgeries for just this reason----I am here anytime you have questions----I know what not knowing is like----good luck!!!!!

My brother has a pace maker he has had it for about a yr.,and a half.Yesterday was the first time i seen him in about 6 mo.,and i noticed his face was swollen alot he did gain weight i couldn't tell if his body was swollen.Wonder what would cause his face to swell?
