Hi
Thanks for the post!
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. Well, these symptoms are usually due to heart problems, acid reflux (GERD), hiatal hernia  or thyroid problems, which have to be ruled out in your daughter's case.  Raising your daughter's bed's head end of the bed to 45 degrees should help in case of GERD and hiatal hernia. Antacids and small frequent meals would also help.

Pulmonary artery hypertension too has similar symptoms and so also many lung problems. An X-ray of chest and CT scan are mandatory to rule out both. Many a times EKG does not catch pulmonary hypertension and hence other tests may be needed. Pulmonary function tests too should be carried out.

Also if she is stressed and anxious about something, then these could also be panic attacks.

Hope this helps. I think you should discuss this with your doctor and get her examined in this line. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
