tingling down left side

Hi
I am getting tingling in my left side, from the top of my head, down my arms to the tip oif my fingertips and my shoulder blade right down to the tips of my toes can anyone help. Also my memory is not too brilliant!

Thanx 2 both of u, I went to the doctors and she couldn't pinpoint anything (cos now its down my right side too) she has just sent me to have blood tests IN 2 WEEKS!!!! but at least she doesn't seem too concerned.

I certainly hope you didn't have a stroke and if so the best to you and your family. If not then maybe this helps. At the end of 2008 I began having similar symptoms and like you did not seek medical help, but rather friends and such. After two visits to a Chiropractor we talked numbness and tingling in fingers and I was immediately sent to a back specialist. Without too much detail I ended up w/ anterior c5-c6 fusion w/in the month. Great diagnosis huh? NOT!!!! Take the time and really investigate, because w/in 10 months I'm in for posterior c6-c7 for failed fusion of c6 so I now have 2 metal plates, 8 screws and a titanium rod. Now I find out that I've developed a bone spur that is causing me to go get c3-c4 fused up and removal of bone spur. I really don't mean to scare you, but there has been a lot of medical technology developed and even though I will live this does not mean you need to. Please check out all resources.
