Cryotherapy

Hi all,
Didn't know where to write this! Basically the doctors told me about 3 weeks ago that due to the contraceptive pill I had Cervical Erosion (Their way of explaining it was "your womb has turnt inside out and something about more blood vessels then usual, so I had to look it up on here!) Anyway, I believe Cryotherapy is what they were trying to explain what I needed to have done and I've got an appointment for it Thursday! I have a really low pain threshold and was wondering what other peoples experiences were with Cryotherapy? I'm really scared about it because I find everything painful! Could people share their experiences with me and let me know if it hurt them, how long it lasted for etc?

Thank you!

Hi there.  I had this done three years ago.  I'll tell you how I felt about it.  The only thing I found quite uncomfortable about it was the burning sensation.  It felt like there was a hot sharp sensation all the way into my stomach.  It wasn't painful, just uncomfortable.  It took me about a day to be feeling back to myself, but it was worth it.  Don't worry, you'll be fine.  Not a big deal at all :)  Good luck
