upper torso skin irritation

Approx. 2 mos. I started getting a unusual skin burning on my upper torso front & back only in sploches.  There is no visible sign of any kind.  I've had friends with shingles and my conditions seems somewhat the same only much, much less painful and no outward sighs.  This condition is only a discomfort not terribly painful, but seems to be spreading to other locations on my upper torso.
This condition started upon returning from a diving vacation in Mexico.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
This could be shingles in a mild form. However since you have come back from a diving vacation I would suggest you consult a vascular specialist too for deep vein thrombosis.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
