Could be migraines. Does it throb right behind your left eye??? I've had migraines for years (comes with having 4 kids I think-ha); the only meds that help relieve most of the pain are Zomig (really expensive, but no generic version yet) and Meloxicam (generic for Mobic) - both pills taken together usually decrease pain within an hour or two. Hope this helps. My doc also suggested Imitrex when I can't afford the Zomig anymore.
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It is difficult to diagnose the cause of headaches on net. Sinusitis, refractive errors of the eye, migraine, cluster headaches, brain tumors, high blood pressure, temporal arteritis, pinched cervical spinal nerve, tension headaches, poor or disturbed sleep etc are several causes of headaches. Dental pain and ear ache can cause similar symptoms. Please consult a headache and migraine specialist to rule out these causes one by one. Take care!
this sounds very much like severe migrain problems,i hope everything goes fine with the ct scan, keep us informed.
