Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If the cramps are localized to the stomach or abdomen area only then it can be due to stomach flu or food poisoning. You may start to have either vomiting or diarrhea soon. It could also be due to ovarian cysts getting twisted. Another possibility is intestinal obstruction. It can also be cramping prior to periods which is a part of premenstrual tension. Urinary tract infection, urinary bladder infection, gas in gut, severe acidity, Crohn’s, IBS, food allergies etc all cause cramps.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral as a confirmed diagnosis is not possible on net. Take care!
