Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You need to get examined to rule out a few things such as low blood pressure, postural hypotension, cervical spinal nerve compression, hypoglycemia, severe anemia, an underactive thyroid (called hypothyroidism), overactive thyroid (called hyperthyroidism), adrenal insufficiency (called Addison's disease), GERD, and internal ear infections.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!

Nelly, it almost sounds like blood sugar drops, which can be quite serious.  Is the pain in your left side or anywhere near your ovaries?  Contact your doctor right away and tell him or her what is going on.

When you feel like this drink some juice and a glass of milk and see if you feel better after 10 or 15 minutes.   If that helps, the follow it immediately with more protein.

Quite often when the body goes through hormonal changes it can disrupt the way your body processes glucose.

Having a child means that your substituting all of your nutrients, so that baby can be born healthy. Now your the new born here (smile) I had the same problem when I had my son. there were times when I had to just lay down for long periods of time because of the lightheaded feeling, dizziness etc. had me not in control. like I was going to fall forward and hit the ground. What you need is the right blood and Iron builders. You must remember, having a baby also takes your Folic Acid (in our cases with the Anemia)

PLENTY OF LIVER-not fully cooked, but just enough so you don't see the blood.

SPINACHE- which is the #! iron builder to be taken(yuuk)lol. I just added a little salt, and steamed it for 2-3 min. a little vegetable spread for some flavor.

GRAPE JUICE-(WELCHER'S) which is very good for iron, and plenty of Strawberries. I would crush the Strawberries, and blend it with the grape juice. It's very tasty.

LIQUID IRON- which is much better than the pills, because it doesn't constipate you.
If you can't get the liquid, get the ferusol"WAIT" not the little dark green hard ones prescribe from the doctor.  these you get from the pharmacy. It is about $15.00 for 60 pills, but believe me they are worth it. no trouble at all when you have to use the bathroom.
Take those with the folic acid, for that plays a role for helping the Anemia...
