A few things going on, help??? :(

I have been kind of afraid of going to see a doctor....a lot of it does stem back from my previous G.P. as he never took anything seriously and would always laugh at me when I went to him about a problem and started ignoring anything that was going on (which I know is not good...but when your own doctor doesn't take you seriously and you are from a small town in the middle of nowhere with nobody else to turn too, there wasn't much more I could do, especially with being so young at that time) He would just sit back, laugh and just say it was all in my head....he did it to my mother too! She has finally gone above his head for her problems, and has just found out she has Glaucoma at the young age of 47 which frightens me as as it is seeing as her mother has it too....Geez, I had fractured my ankle, he got an x-ray done and then told me nothing was wrong and that it was just a sprain! (I couldn't move my toes for almost a month!), but the Radiologist who did my x-ray called my doctor and told him I had a bloody fracture so he had to call me back into the office! I know doctors make mistakes, geez we are only human but it was blatantly obvious on the x-ray apparently as I spoke to the radiologist (who happened to be a friend of the family!)

Anyways, ok I will get to the point, here are the problems I have been experiencing...The latest problems have been my lack of appetite, I have always struggled with my weight but to be quite honest I never have eaten a lot and this is being very honest....but lately it has gotten really bad, I will go days without being able to eat because I feel so nauseous, and my stomach and lower abdomen hurt so bad as well....every now and then I also wind up having a couple of days where I feel like there is a lot of pressure through my lower and upper abdomen and get really really backed up with gas, it hurts a lot!!

Next, it seems to have been happening since I was younger but it has been getting worse lately, I get a lot of very strong heartburn (a true burning sensation behind my breastbone up into my throat sometimes....), and I can't pinpoint anything as to directly causing it. It happens whether I eat or not, doesn't matter whether I am sitting up or laying down or walking around, it just comes out of nowhere!!  I also seem to be having more and more problems with fatigue....I am so tired all the time! Even walking down the street tires me out.....I also had a bought of anal bleeding
(I honestly feel really embarrassed right now spewing out all my problems online like this, but I was hoping someone could at least help me to put things together so I don't going into a medical office doing the same, I just want things to make a little more sense for when I am explaining these things and to come up with appropriate questions pertaining to the problems as well.....)

As a bit of history, I used to get bronchitis a lot when growing up and over the past 2 years I have had pneumonia twice and a UTI as well, but when the ultrasound was done for the diagnosis of the UTI, of course I needed to have a full bladder but I kept drinking and drinking and drinking water and I felt like I was going to burst, but when they tried doing the ultrasound, apparently there was next to nothing in my bladder! But I honestly felt like it was really full, and the nurse witnessed and gave me a lot of water to drink and was just as confused as I was!

I go to the washroom quite frequently and last time I went to the doctor which was probably about 4 months ago (I went into a clinic) for this problem, they did a urine test right there and the doctor told me I didn't have an infection.....I still have this problem along with everything else! I barely sleep through the night, and it is terrible during the day.....I have been tested multiple times for diabetes and it has come back negative every time (which I am glad about!, but baffled as to what is causing the frequent need to go to the washroom, I have been doing exercises to strengthen the muscles down there but it hasn't helped at all!!)  The other strange thing now is that I have been getting random fevers.....sometimes along with pain in my stomach and gut (sometimes very sharp like someone just kicked me in the stomach, or very dull and achy), but a few other things that have been happening is that I have noticed bright red blood in my stool, and sometimes it seems to be a lot and just a couple of days ago I had instances where my anus would randomly bleed, I would go to the washroom and it would be dripping before I even sat down! It is kind of embarrassing .....:( Ok, I feel very unsure as to how to deal with these problems as I don't want to go in to see a doctor and just spew off everything like this....What would you suggest?? How should I go about dealing with this? A friend told me something about "H Pylori", would this be something to consider when talking to a doctor???

Lighter_times is right, your anorexia, nausea, rectal bleeding could be related to gastroesophageal reflux or an ulcer and it's something that you need a second opinion for if you haven't gotten enough help from your current doctor.  Your symptoms don't sound like a quinsey which is another name for a peritonsilar abscess which causes swelling on one side of your throat.

Your lengthy explanation shows just how prepared you want to be, to ask better questions when you go see your doctor, and that's a great thing to do online here in MedHelp forums.

You should be asking your doctor why you have had such a problem with your appetite, going for days without eating is really hard on your body and could be related to irritable bowel syndrome.  Your persistent heartburn and bouts of rectal bleeding are concerning for GERD or peptic ulcer or colon bleeding.  Your fatigue and lower abdominal pain are worrisome too.

There are many reasons why you should be going to see your doctor and I hope you get to soon

For a start go to a different doctor or even to er if you are suffering from anal bleeding for no apparent reason - I'm not trying to worry you but they get a far better picture of what's going on when it's happening rather than say "this happened last week" half the time they think we're exaggerating!  It sounds like it could be an ulcer or something as simple as severe gastic reflux but seeking an answer from someone professionally trained, other than your current gp, is far better than guessing.  I was very ill for over three and a half years because my doctor couldn't be bothered to listen and finally I, through research, have found the cause and treating it with natural and herbal supplements to my diet and now I'm actually starting to feel so much better! My doctors route was to take my tonsils out, have all my wisdom teeth out etc etc. At one stage I was vomiting blood from an abscess deep in my throat but she did nothing apart from make me feel like a two year old complaining over a grazed knee.  Two days later I was rushed to hospital unconscious - my four young children had found me collapsed in my hallway - I had severe quinsey and spent 5 days in hospital on drips etc.  A month or so ago I had a large abscess leaking pus in my throat again and it was making me very poorly, not only did she make me go to her surgery when I could barely walk across a room without shaking, fevers etc she suggested the reason I was shaking was anxiety or stressing about seeing her!  Then she did a throat swab - but told me to drink water seconds before then took the swab from the opposite side of my throat to where the abscess was and of course the results were 'nothing abnormal detected'.  So please get a second opinion and sooner rather than later.
