Doctors don't know what to do

I am a 19 year old female. I have been having severe pelvic and abdominal pain. I have had the pain now for about 6 months. My menstrual cycle is irregular. I have to urinate a lot. My bowels are not working as they should be. I have had a PAP test, a laparoscopy, a colonscopy, blood tests, ultrasounds, x-rays, and a barium. All tests have come back negative.  I have been to many different hospitals and have seen many different doctors, and yet they have no idea what is wrong. And all the pain meds that they have been giving me, nothing seems to work, without me having some type of reaction to them. What am I to do now?

I was reading your post and I have had a similar problem.  I went to a gastroenterologist and they found some problems like a slow digestive system and bacteria in my stomach.  Check this out.  I hope this was helpful.

If your gynecvologic workup was negative, you need an evaluation by a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist. They may be able to diagnose pelvic floor muscle trigger points which may be responsible for your pain. A physical therapist can also help release the trigger points, which often can cure your pain issues.

please email  if you need information on locating one in your area. ***@****
