Prostatisis

Hello All,
I have been diagnosed with Enlarged prostate and I also have a High neck on my bladder outage !!!
I have had the cystoscopy and this is how I know. I have also had Cipro and muscle relaxants.
The biggest problem I was having was the pressure feeling in my very lower Abbs area. I have now discovered what inflames the situation. I drank allot of coffee and when I go out to the pub I drank four Bacardi and cokes. Also when I went out for a meal with my wife and friends I would have a couple of glasses of white wine.
The pressure was very bad the next day and I was urinating allot ( day and night). I recently have cut out Coffee, Coke and Wine and after a few days things have really calmed down.
I also think that these particular drinks where affecting my bowels and that was the real pressure I have been feeling.
Also my stools have now started to go back to normal.

Please please try cutting these out if you are having the same problems I have and let me know what you think.

Regards,

Hi Doctor,
In my post I was saying that I had been diagnosed with the problem abd I was letting others know that I get releif from not drinking them particular drinks.
One thing I was going to ask was if I had an inflamed bowel could that be pressing on the bladder making me urinate more?
Would the Cystoscopy show if anything was pressing on it?

Hello Royboy288,

There is some problem with the size of the prostate. It seems that there is prostatits which is causing the increase in the size of the prostate. Avoid wine, coffee or colas as they are diuretic agents and increase the frequency of urination, increasing the pressure on the bladder neck. Consult your urologist for further action.
