Pain in Pubic area, radiates down through leg.

For the Past Week and a half I have been having a constant ache in my pubic area. It will sometimes subside but then I will get a pain in my upper left abdomin and it shoots down my leg through my grain toward my knee. I have had urine tests and blood test done and nothing has come up. Has anyone ever had a problem like this. It also is uncomfortable when sitting to lean forward and causes pain. As well as it is uncomfortable with an erection. Any insight would be great.

Thanks,

Kyle

Hello,
Since the pain is radiating towards the abdomen and the leg, so two possibilities have to be evaluated. First possibility is of a kidney or ureteric obstruction like a stone or malignancy which can obstruct the flow of urine and hence such symptoms of severe pain radiating through the groins. The second possibility is of some spinal condition like spinal stenosis which can cause compression of the nerves and hence causing sciatica like symptoms.
Please consult a physician and get an ultrasound abdomen and MRI spine along with nerve conduction tests to evaluated these two possibilities.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hi Kyle,

I have had the same thing when I was 23. I was diagnosed as having prostatitis as well as having a kidney infection.
I'm 45 now and have had many bouts of prostatitis as well as separate cases of kidney infections.
Each time that I have it I can feel it radiate into my legs.

I hope that you can get this under control.

All the best.

Ron
