I am 25 yrs old. When my husband and i first got married at age 18, i would have them everytime after sex. 8 years later i have one again. This time i believe it came from receiving oral sex from him. The bacteria that a person can hold in their mouths..im assuming. I was once told by a doctor that my husbands sperm could have too much or too little acidity, which can cause a uti. I hate them..mine are always painful and if i jump or move suddenly i can actually feel pain in my uterus.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
hello friend,
it happens sometimes. Female's urinary tract is smaller than males. So chances of infections are higher in them. You need to driank a lot of water so that you urinate frequently and less chances of UTI.
Meanwhile it's better to start with the medicines once the UTI is proved.
