Why do I have pain with activity 8 months after turn?

I am 56 .I had turp surgery 8 months ago and the surgery went well with one problem. If I am active for a period of time I will start feeling pain inside at the surgery site. If I continue to be active the pain increases to the point that I have to sit down for awhile. With a lot of activity I can also see light blood in my urine. Looking for advice or similar experiences.
