bacterial vaginitis and uti with foam

I have been on amox clav and flagyl for a weeks couse. The bacterial problem is resolved. I am still urinating frequently the color is a dark yellow and foam is still present.  Isn't it true that when you have foam in urine its not only protien but albumin ? Should I see my DR. for a followup urinalysis.  I have also felt some pain in the bladder.  My DR. ran some blood work already.

Thank you for your prompt response.  I returned to my Physician for another urinalyisis he found protien and blood in my urine. I am still  on the Macrobid, but I am now experiencing body aches/spasms and facial swelling with lower back pain and abdominal swelling. I am only into my presription about 3 days out of a couse of 7. I plan to call my DR. with these new complaints.

If you are passing urine too fast and it is concentrated the urine can be foamy. Drink ample amounts of fluids. If the symptoms persist then proteinuria can be the cause. It can happen due to renal causes or other causes like infections, sarcoidosis, multiple myeloma, and SLE. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a urologist.
