Hi there!

Thyroid issues are unlikely to be related to penile numbness. Since this is an intermittent issue, it is likely to be due to stress or psychological causes than an organic cause. However if the numbness seems to be continuous, I would suggest considering an evaluation by a primary care physician or a urologist to rule out neuro-muscular issues involving the region.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

Have your doctor check his nerves in the area & have him STAY OFF ALL BIKE SEATS, STATIONARY, ANYTHING THAT'S A BIKE SEAT FOREVER. If it's a nerve he should take B Vitamins & ONLY SIT ON WELL-PADDED SEATS. I'm having to use padded toilet seats on top of every seat I sit in. Prayer would be good too as none of us want lasting nerve damage to affect making our wives/ladies happy.
