pain in penis

Hi im 28 yeas old,Married about two months

Of late,a very bad odour(which i never felt before) comes from my penis glans .I always keeep it very clean and also it is not like semen odour.
Sometimes,I get pain in the penis.

Its good that you are not experiencing any symptoms now.Pls keep the penis clean by the methods that I have described and if the symptoms persist then pls get yourself evaluated for balanitis.

Thanks for ur reply....

I could not see any spots or dots in the glans.For the past two days ,I haven't got such odour.I suppose is that b'coz of sex. intercourse..
Is it a really very serious problem to check up???

Hello,
These symptoms can be due to fungal infection or balanitis. It is an inflammation of the glans penis.

Oral course of antibiotics is needed.In addition,pls don’t use any cosmetics on the penis,instead use some topical antimicrobials like Bacitracin or Lotrimin.Also corticosteroids and topical immunosuppressants can be used but they are available under prescription. Also retract the foreskin daily and soak in warm water to clean penis and foreskin.In case the symptoms persist then pls consult a urologist/dermatologist for evaluation and antimicrobials and steroids prescription.
