So, I'm a 32 year old female, non smoker who has had 3 gross hematurias in 4 years and 4 ua dip/ micros showing trace blood. All cultures were negative. First was November 2012, pee was bright red, no other symptoms. I was 28 at the time and I just ignored it. February 2013 had 4-5 bright red pees and I peed in a cup. It showed moderate blood, trace protein. The microscopic showed rbc and bacteria so he treated me with cipro. The culture came back negative and he told me I could stop the cipro. I took the whole course anyway. Then 11/2013 I had mild cramping in my pelvis so I had another urinalysis. Only showed trace blood. Now fast forward 3 years to Christmas Day 2016- 2 bright red pees. Peed in a cup Monday and it showed trace blood and culture negative. The doc told me to see my primary. I did, peed in a cup, trace blood, negative culture. She is sending me for a cystoscopy which I have scheduled for Wednesday the 4th. So my question is, based on my age, gender, non smoker, 4 years of random gross hematurias, no other symptoms whatsoever..what are the odds it's cancer? Of course if you google, everything that is no symptoms with hematuria is cancer. I'm very scared. I grew up with parents who smoked so I was exposed to second hand smoke for most of my childhood.
