I don't think you've been misdiagnosed, however, I do think your thyroid is being under treated. Many doctors only look at thyroid levels as being "in range" or "out of range". They don't look at the levels that might be right for your body. If you have a copy of your latest lab report, I'd be interested in seeing what your levels are.
From what I told about my health do you think it's possible that I have been misdiagnose ? There was a discussion on tv that listed all my systems .I know your not a dr but I thought you might have talked to someone do think I could have chrini fatuege
Isee one of the best endrocolgist in Florida. At one time I was on .3mg now .25 I tell a difference. I am bi polar also. There are several heath issues Ive blamed for my health issues. I Never saw it before, but now where I thought the issues make me eat I see that the eating is making all the issues worse. I will not have as much pain or depression if I lose 30 lbs.
Your symptoms (depression, pain, weight issues) match many of those with hypothyroidism; have you had your thyroid levels tested? You need at least TSH, Free T3 and Free T4........
There are a lot of little things you can do to help lose weight AND maybe ease your depression some. The first thing you need to do is make yourself get out of bed and at least sit in a chair to eat.
Sometimes not moving around can make pain way worse than it otherwise would be; besides that, you could lose the use of your muscles, if you don't use them.
Start very slowly and try to work up to more exercise. You may not even be over eating; it could just be lack of exercise.
