thank you your right it's not that's the food I cook isn't healthy it just seems like I like it so much I can't stop when I should and I always end up having a stomach ache so I'm going to try to find the portion control item that u place ln your plate and fill it in with the food which is like a fist full and lots of veggies but yea that's a great start walking 30 minutes I can defiantly do that with my girls and yes i haven't had sodas since Tuesday I've been having headaches daily not sure cause the caffeine or not enough protein ... But thanks for all your advice it's very appreciated
Start out by making healthy changes in your cooking methods so you can eat the same things you cook for your family, without guilt. Just because they don't need to diet, doesn't mean they don't need to eat healthy foods. The need lots of veggies and stuff too in order to get all the nutrients they need to be healthy and for the kids to grow and develop into strong adults.
All too often, we think it's okay to cook unhealthy foods for the family, while we're "suffering" with a nice healthy salad and small piece of baked chicken... they need those fresh veggies and baked, not fried chicken too.
Then, once you've switched to a healthier way of cooking, simply cut back your portion size to what's an actual portion. Add in some healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, coconut oil, at each meal etc and you'll be surprised how little food it really takes to be satisfed.
Stop drinking sodas (including diet drinks) and sweet tea, and make water your drink of choice. If you don't like plain water, add a slice of lemon, lime or even cucumber to each glass to give it some pizzazz.
As far as exercise, just take the kids and get out and go for a 30 minute daily walk - you'd be surprised how good that will make you feel and once you have your calories in check, the weight will start coming off.
I'm around most of the time, I'll be glad to help you with this...
