Ya got me. I am hiding from the weigh-in this week! I was very sick all weekend and I don't think it would be productive for me to weigh myself at this time. I promise to still be accountable through tracking and posting, and I WILL weigh in next time.
I allow myself the occasional "get out of jail free" card when I feel the scale would do more harm and cause more stress than good. But I pinky swear that I'll report next week and will face the scale!

i gained 1lb for last weeks weigh in!!! I went to the doctor yesterday and lost 36lbs since 9/14. my next appointment is july 5 and in that time I need to lose 47lbs. wish me luck!!!!!
Not hiding, had a funeral. I should have lost more weight because of not eating due to a death in family. My weight remains the same for some time now. Excercise and calorie counting, not doing much for me when it should. I will keep trying a bit longer, maybe something will happen soon?
Thank you for the suggestions!!! I am thinking about trying out the stationary bike at the gym since I NEVER go that! I will try to mix it up. Since I didn't get to the gym, I did Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred! OMG. It killed me lol
With all the recent exercise, you are bound to be gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. Keep working at it, you will get there. And don't forget to "mix it up". If you do the same workout every time, your body gets used to it and the workout no longer challenges the muscles. Also try varying the # of calories you consume each day also. Hang in there.
Thanks gokuangel. I did not take my measurements but I will do that! I think that i need to re-evaluate my workout and be more consistent and stuff!

Hey guys! I am really upset! The scale says I gained 4 lbs this week. This really upsets me becuase I worked my BUTT off at the gym. I ran my first mile, EVER this week and ran a mile a few days later as well. I can't believe I gained so much! I was at 193.8 but now I am at 197.0! I am just so upset.
Hey everyone....just back in from church. No loss for me this week....but no gain either. So I am holding steady here......that's okay I know just what to do about that. Eating again for mornings and lunches....exercising like I am supposed to.....right back on it!

I'm not sure what happened either because I sure wasn't working on my diet and exercise this past week, with company and eating out etc, but I'm down too from 146 to 144.
Like so many, I've been gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds for several months now, so hoping this means I'm on a downward turn!!

After steadily climbing the scale .. eeekkksss .. over the holidays .. I'm using every tool available to get myself back on track and bring my ultimate goal to reality this year.
2009 IS THE YEAR!!! No more lally-gagging around .. time to get on with it! Want to see that BMI indicator say NORMAL rather than OBESE. Am completely smiling that it is no longer morbidly obese.
I lost 1 lb this week and I am THRILLED! One pound at a time .. 1/2 pound at a time .. and never, ever quitting!

I'm not hiding lol!! I tried a lil bit harder although i have been slacking my calorie counter at any rate i dropped 1.5 lbs!! So i think and hope i jumped over that plateau for good this time!! Still no inches lost though. I am starting a boot camp challenge on spark people this week so hopefully a change is just what i need to start getting those pesky inches down! I also bought a fat tracker its really cool and im happy to say im at 24.3% body fat not 30%! But my goal is 20%!
Well, guess what??? I weigh exactly what I weighed BEFORE 2 weeks in FL, and 2 weeks of 99% of all social events involving EATING OUT!!! So, I still weigh 155.5. What a relief. Of course, I'd have loved to LOSE weight, but I'll take it!
