Why am I gaining weight instead of losing!

Im keeping my caloric intake under my calories remaining, and yet I've gained a pound! What am I doing wrong?

Drink more water if you aren't drinking enough! It's obvious, but a lot of people forget it.

I've been using the  calorie list here on the app, I'll try using a separate one. Should I be keeping the caloric intake under the number of calories burned?

Are you sure about that calorie count?
Write down everything that goes into your mouth for a week, then calculate the calories using a standardized nutritional database like ars.usda.gov/foodsearch
