Well done you :)
Its little steps that win the race not huge ones :) x
I woke up felling better, was hungry last eve but made it through.I fell better about myself for not eating mydelf crazy .I have a very long way to go.
I find when I am being good really enjoy my meals - I eat because I am hungry - or becase my body needs energy....not because I am bored, emotional or fancying a certain taste....Everything now tastes better.
Well done on a good day yesterday - keep it up :) x
i drank more water yesterday than i have in a good long time and ate right,I feel better today not all full from the day before ..
The simple formula is:
Eat less but better/ exercise more / keep water intake up / sleep well
Easier said than done... but you CAN and WILL do it- 2009 is YOUR year - it is there for the taking :) x
thank you i will run this page off and out it in the frige i have never tryed this before .THANK you
You will never succeed in weight loss and weight stability until you are in the right mind set - you have to be in a good place mentally to be able to tackly yourself physically.
So here is my advice.
1) Take a few days to adjust your thinking to I CAN DO THIS - I CAN DO THIS... positive thinking and the right attitude is more than half the battle.
2) Set yourself a realistic long term goal.... of weight loss and inch loss. Then break that down to 3 monthly, and even Monthly smaller targets - so you have realistic achievable goals that you can reach and feel good about.
3) Weigh yourself and take your measurements.. I do chest, wasit, hips, bum, thighs and calves. I weigh daily but most people find it best to weigh weekly... I take my measurements weekly. Set up your tracker on here :)
4) Sit down and plan your next weeks meals...then write your shopping list based on your menu planner - do not buy the foods you find it hard to resist....
5) Try to increase your activity- walk more, don't sit still more than 30 mins - even if you jsut walk around the house a few times every half hour, just keep your energy levels up and your metabolism increased.
6) Try to keep your fluid intake up - not tea or coffee or alcohol, preferably water or water based cold drinks.
7) Make sure you get 8 hours in bed - if not asleep, resting - so no TV, reading, games..etc.
8) While aiming fr your short term goals keep yur eye on your long term goal and remember one bad meal, one bad day is not the end of the world- jsut means you have to work a litlte harder for a few days.
9) Expect to loose 1-3lb a week.
10) Encourage your family and those around you to eat more heathily and exercise more - make it a group effort so your support network is right there with you.
Good luck :) x
