thank you!! ill try anything it seems like the first 5lbs is hard. I also dance for excerise; only about 45 min. once or twice a week, but do you think thats making it hard to gain?
I'd add in more protein with each meal and snack, especially with breakfast where it is really needed. Unless you have a cholesterol problem, I'd drink full fat milk, too.
I don't see any veggies, which are needed primarily for the vitamin and fiber aspect of good health. They won't significantly help you gain weight, but are needed anyway.
Nuts and avocados are a good source of healthy calories and good fat. Eat plently, especially for snacks.
You could add one of the shakes to each meal. That would help, too.

breakfast: 2 cups of honey nut cheerios, with 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
snack: Fruit of some kind (peach, Apple)
Lunch: fast food Hamburger with fries or Chicken
snack: 6-10 fudge cookies
Dinner: pasta either with meat sauce or cheese
Snack: GNC Mass XXX vanilla shake 1 Lg. scoop w/ 2 cups 2% milk
Have you seen doctor to rule out any metabolic problem? If not, that would be my first suggestion. Get a complete physical and blood work, which you should prior to trying to conceive, anyway.
Can you post a typical days menu, including approximate amounts? That way, we can get a better look at what you are eating.
