It could be worth checking your settings.
- is your activity level set correctly. It defaults to 'sedentary' so you may want to change it to more accurately reflect your lifestyle.
- is your weight loss target realistic? More than a couple of pounds a week is unsustainable in the long term and needs a reduction in weekly calories that would be far too low for comfort
A good rule of thumb is to lose 1 pound a week by diet (eat 500 calories less a day) and 1 pound by exercise (burn 500 calories extra a day eg. For me that means walking fast for an hour a day on top of what I usually do.)
In terms of the weight loss tool it means setting your base level (accurate actual weight, activity levels, age, sex) and then earning more calories by recording extra exercise)
Let me know how you get on :)
But see that's the things I don't sit around or do anything I do exercise I'm very active but I guess my target weight it too short I don't know I'll try it
Hi
659 is the number of calories you would need to eat in a day to lose weight IF YOU DO NOTHING BUT SIT AROUND. You need to start recording when you walk or do exercise and the amount you can eat will go up.
Also I am guessing you have a target of losing 2 pounds a week. Set yourself a less challenging target and those base calories will be higher.
My base calories are 882 a day but yesterday I walked for an hour and a half which doubled what I could eat
