I was told not to chew gum as it activates your salivary glands which basically tells your body that you are getting ready to eat. Which, I guess, messes with your hypothalmus and makes you hungry, or something like that.
Chew, Chew, Chew!!! All you want of sugar free gum. People who try to stop smoking chew gum to keep their minds on something else besides smoking or eating!!!!! Or to keep their mouths busy. I have done some pretty exstinsive research on the hCG protocol, and never read not to chew gum, so gum sugar free gum , it can't hurt!
