Lead Sled Dog. Do you go to the Advanced Lipo Dissolve on KC on Nall? I am considering going and would like to know who to ask for to do abs--sounds like that makes a difference.
Enjoying reading the posts and other than some pain/discomfort for 2-3 days and tenderness thereafter, it sounds like it's working for people.
I took a look at the before pictures that the Lipodissolve center took and all I can say is "wow!". I have also been dietingLosing weight Yo-yo dieting (Adkins) and have went from 148lbs to 130lbs. My lower stomach was almost flat before the 5th treatment. I don't feel that my upper abdomen (area right under the bra line) has responded as well. I hate those littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummysfattyXanthoma area's. Even diet has not made them go away - must be genetic. LOL.
I know that the weight lose can be attributed to the diet- but, the flatter abdomen I do believe is due to the lipodissolve. I've done adkins before and it has had an "all over" weight lose, but I never had my abdomen become this much flatter.
Would I do it again - YES, In a heartbeat! Has the pain been worth it, Yes. Kinda weird, but the injections themselves seem to hurt more each time I go - maybe it is because I know what is coming - anticipated pain. LOL. The pain is better, though, in the days after.
I had a different nurse practitioner do the injections, (not my favorite, Sara, who does a wonderful job she was off work).
I've got 1 more treatment left on the lower abd. and 2 more on the upper abd. Any questions, just ask me. I'm happy to share what I have been going through.
I am considering lipodissolve, but have some reservations because it's not FDA approved. Are there any side effects? I have heard there are days of swelling and it can be uncomfortable? Is that caused by the injections...if not, then what causes it? Is it guaranteed? What if the fat comes back, do you get the injections again at no cost?
I just had my first treatment, and it was more painful than I expected, although they told me afterward that patients seem to report that the belly is the most painful area. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to drive myself home! I waited in my car about 30 minutes. They put an elastic wrap around me and some small ice packs before I left, and I used a topical lidocaine cream on the area and took two extra-strength Tylenol before the treatment. Today is the third day after the injections, and there is still a lot of swelling and bruising, but the worst swelling has moved down to the pubic area, which is reddened-I guess the fluid has settled there. I am definitely going to take some real pain pills before the next treatment-not just Tylenol! I am not a wuss, either--I had natural childbirth!
I had my first lipo dissolve treatment done 4 days ago and have basically been bed ridden since. The shots itself did not bother me, however, I have not been able to hold anything in my stomach since getting it done. I have had fever, vommiting, diarrhea and have missed 2 days of work because of this. Has anyone else had these symptoms and do they get better after the next treatment. I do not have enough sick days to cover the treatments if it is the same reaction everytime. How long does this generally last? I want to be one of those people who go out to a movie the night I get the treatment or even the next night. At this point, I don't know if it will be worth getting this sick over.
after reading other comments. I have to say, I am truly happy with my progress so far. I have had 3 visits and can truly say finally something is working on my lower abs. I have been overweight all my life and have done diet after diet...lost and lost, gained back...along with, two children, both C-sections and I would loose everywhere else but my lower ab. As for me, I know this isn't a solution to my weight loss, but at least it looks as if something is fianlly happening, thus giving me encouragement to watch when and what i eat. I have had little pain, usually for about 4 hours, I don't take any pain reliever. I want this to fully work, therefore no pain meds for me. The way it was explained to me the more irration that area has the better the results. I am not spending this kind of money to have anything go against it. Since I am overweight, i can only receive one area treatment at a time. However when i am finished with this area, I will be going to my upper abs. the staff is really concerend about other health areas as well, they discovered that I had high blood pressure. As a result I am now being treated for that and am feeling much better. Kudos to the staff at Lipo Dissolve on Nall in KS.
I completed my lipo dissolve on my lower abs last spring in St. Louis. I was happy with the results but was left with skin that was just hanging. So my fat was gone but I had extra skin. I did a treatment that was called Thermage and loved my results. It was a little painful but not any worse than the lipo dissolve and was not in any pain after the appointment. I am now ready for my thighs.
My son is 14.5 years old. He is very talented in music and performs quite often. He has a large fat lump around his waist - belly button to hips. He's very active - works out- eats right and does lots of situps. Nothing has changed this fat lump and it's getting bigger. His dad has one too - . My son is very self consesus about how it looks, how he looks. He won't wear tailor clothing - his pants fit poorly and it physcologically it's damaging his self esteem. Does anyone that has had this know if it would be okay for him to do? Would the pain be too much - do they do this on kids his age?
You can look on the web page for Lipo Dissolve and get the info with regards to age of patients.... I personally have had good experiences with the 3 treatments Ive received so far. Yes there is swelling, and some soreness for a few days afterwards, then the fat cells harden and dissolve.. I take a couple tylenol right before I get to the center and this does help...Hey, lyposuction hurts lots with lots of down time - lipo is a better option.. no down time, minor soreness a little stinging for a few min. its a no brainer...
I have noticed that the abdominal area is much more sensitive than the thighs. I had my second treatment to the lower abdomen today and the pain has been much greater that in the third treatment to my thighs. How long does the swelling and pain persist in the abdominal area?
The swelling Ive had in my lower and upper abs lasts for several day afterwards--- It was a week yesterday since my last treatment and the swelling is almost completely gone, as for the pain mine was pretty "tender" for 2 and 3 days afterwards, a little bruising, but the tenderness lessened each day. it was nothing that kept me from doing things I normally would do. Other than the first 48 hrs when they tell you no vigourous activity- so those days I dont do my crunches and the piddly little bit of toning I do try to do ...
I have my consultation on Friday for the St. Louis center. I'm a little anxious and nervous-not one for pain. :) I was wondering how many injections do you get at one time? It is hard to consider the pain factor when everyone has a different idea of pain. Although I avoid pain at all costs, I also feel I have a high tolerance for pain. I have had all 4 of my girls naturally with no drugs. I homeschool them and we are very active, I don't have time to rest. I train for triathlons and try very hard but I'm just not seeing results beyond a pound a week if I'm lucky. My husband wants me to lose 20 pounds. So, is lipo-dissolve for me? Thank you!
I Have my consultation tomorrow for the lip dissolve. Does it really hurt that bad? I will have to retur to work after my appointments. Will I be Able to do this? Also, does it really work? I got 6 treatments for $1,000. Is that good?
If you want a good place to go for Lipo Dissolve treatments you should visit Radiant Med Spa. I have gone twice now and had treatments in my lower abdomen; results are fantastic. You can visit their website for discounts, but I believe the treatments are $175 per injection and they require that you buy at least 2 injections. Jana, the RN that completed my injections is a sweetheart. The pain is tolerable and there is brusing. But, it's all worth it.
I had my first treatment last Wed afternoon. It was more painful than I had expected. I didn't realize that it would involve so-o many injections. I had my lower abs done. She must have poked me 60 times with the needle. It seemed like it took forever but the injection part only took a total of about 15 minutes. When the treatment was done, I didn't think I would be able to walk. I drove and moaned all the way home. The pain was intense for about 3-4 hours afterwards. Alot of burning in the area. Afterwards, the burning sensation sort of went away but you're still very uncomfortable. Walking, getting in and out of bed was difficult. The swelling is enormous. It looks like I'm 5-6 mo. pregnant! It's been 2 days since my treatment. I still have alot of swelling, from the navel down into the groin/pubic area. The discomfort is tolerable now. I still have to walk and sit down in a chair slowly. I sure hope this swelling goes down soon. It's disgusting looking. I have some bruising. I did have to miss work the next day. There was no way around that. I'm somewhat skeptical about another treatment. I don't know if I can handle the discomfort and down time again.
I got my first treatment yesterday, It itched for about the first 2 hrs, then it burned for about 2 hrs,
then it was stender, I have swelling in the lower abs (which was were I got it), But I dont hurt and I dont see or feel the pain that others were talking about. I am praying and believing for the best possible results.I have been overweight my entire life ( 35 yrs old now). When I was a child, I use to say I wish there was something to melt the fat away. Now here it is.
I have a high pain tollerance and I can honestly say this is the most painful thing I've done, you will not be able to work the next day, no clothes fit and its very hard to walk around. im seeing results now after 5th treatment, but if i didn't pay 2500 in advance I wouldnt finish...it hurts and down time is long, think it would have been easier to just get liposuction, at least its over ...not ongoing pain.
I did the lipo dissiovle in my low abs and for the two day it hurt i can not get up right. On average I am moving doing taebo in the morning because and running around 12 noon with my two girls 1 and 3 years old I been in weight wacher and jenny craig ww is the best paying around 12 pre week is good but jenny craig is a lot of money food just cost around 150 and the sign up fie is 499 now that a lot. So I what to see some thing fast so I get lipo disolive. you it you have question just right back
oh please FDA approved? The FDA is what doesn't approve natural remedies for cancer. For what reason, it's not known, I mean not that they'd have their hand in any of the cancer treatment profits, people have used this in europe for years now with no deaths or anything. The solution is a mixture of lecithin which is all natural, if they dont want to approve something all natural what do we care?
I am just wondering are there restrictions for getting the lipodissolve? I am over 100 lbs. overweight and didn't know if it could be done on someone so obese? Please let me know. I am so very desparate.
I just had my first session today. I am not really overweight so my friends say that im vein for doing this but I have a small area of fat in my lower abdomen that would always make me feel as though i wasnt working out hard enough so i would push and push and still no results in that area. So for now I look pregnant and I have to figure out what im going to wear to work tomorrow to hide this gut. Some pain but I can handle it. With my workout and diet im hoping i will not need to try this again or one more session only. We will see
Hi I did the lipo disolve today, I got my butt and my lower stomach. It was ok it was a lot of shots but not too bad. I have been over weight for a long time. but on april.14,2008 i went to my doctor and said i need to do something, so she gave me phen. and wellbutrin for my stress. to help me start to loss weight. Then i told myself I need to work out to tone what i lose. so i found something that i really like to do. and that is spin class at the ymca. It is jun,7,2008 and i was 246 now I'm 233. then my doctor started to do this lipodisolve. so i felt ok to do it. if anyone will do it it should be your doctor, the one that knows all of your body in and out. So now i'll just see in a few days. then i go back to the gym.
( If you get this done you should buy the compress garment that helps with swelling and pain. and massage as much as you can for the first 48hours.) I would be careful with spa's. because most of them only do skin care, like faical and waxing. a doctor should do this.
thanks for hearing my story. good luck and be safe .
Had 1st treatment and couldn't go to work. I am in so much pain! Just wondering has anyone seen results after only 1 treatment? Because I don't know if I can do this again!
I had Lipodissolve today. It wasn't that bad and not too painful. I had my love handles done and had about 50 injections total. They are great where I went and they explained everything to me and calmed any fears I had. It has been about 7 hours past the injections time and now I am pretty sore and my love handles are huge!! Some bruising..and I am walking slowly. Lots of swelling OMG! I was wondering how long that will last because in 2 weeks I am going to have my lower tummy done. Hopefully this is worth it.
Hi momof_2,
I was looking for someone who recently had lipodissolve. I had my first treatment 3 weeks ago on my lower abs and I can see results already. Family, friends and co workers can see a bid difference in my stomach. I can also see and feel a big difference when I put on jean, my stomach dont hang over as much. I'm going in 2 weeks to have my love handle done. Its totally worth it! I had a total on 36 injections on lower ab. I know the love handles will need more, but I know what to expect now. The swelling will start to go down in about 2 days.
I recently had lipodissolve on February 26th. I wasn't bad at all. I'm only going on week 2, so of course I'm not seeing any difference. I am getting my abs and love handles treated. I'll keep you posted.
Hi Tamika. Be patient. I didn't start seeing results until afer 3-4 weeks, but more noticable around 6 weeks. I had my lower abs done first, then lovehandles, next week lower abs again. It is well worth the money! Where are you getting your treatments done?
I had mesotherapy for 3 yrs, it did remove unwanted fat here/there I was small to begin with but couldn't get rid of these areas so did meso. I have loose skin now from it do you know what they use to tighten this? I am frustrated and tired of the whole thing.
Are you happy with results?
