Yeah .. I try not to touch coke as I know how it gets ..iv been addicted to sprite before so i try avoid but dont always go to plan
I replaced my coke addiction with sparkling mineral water, then invested in a Soda stream. Now I drink quite a lot of carbonated water. Seem I was addicted to the fizz, rather than the sugar.
Thank you ..I will try all of that
I try just drinking very dilute squash as it makes it taste better, or dilute squash with fizzy water or flavoured fizzy water as all are very low in calories. If I really need to up my hydration I have a water bottle that filters water which I keep in the fridge. I normally hate water but can stand it if it's very cold and tastes like bottled water. Lastly if I really crave fizzy pop I try and drink either 'coke life' as it doesn't have any artificial sweetners so isn't as bad for you, a Rubicon mango because again, it doesn't have any sweetners in it except stevia which is okay or a smoothie or fruit juice, but only in small amounts. I see what you mean about keeping juice in your house but it lasts a long time and eventually you will drink it all. I'm the only person in my house who drinks it and it's amazing how many bottles we go though
Im trying to drink water .. but some days cant stand the taste .. so it means im not getting my recommended amount to hydrate ..its rather frustrating
I dont like any teas iv tryed them... iv tryed them carbonate water not really a fan .. I might think about the fruit juice .. its just no one else in my house drinks them so might go to waste if not been used enough .. but thanks
There are all types of teas you can try besides the standard teas we think of when someone mentions tea. There are all types of herbal teas that have great flavors that you can experiment with, such as ginger, peppermint, pomegranate, orange, etc and they're even good for you - some can even help you lose weight.
You can also maybe a tablespoon of some type of fruit juice - just enough to flavor the water, but not enough to add more than a few calories.
Have you tried 0 calorie carbonated water? There are a lot of things you can drink as long as they are very low or no calorie and don't have artificial sweeteners - just check out the drink aisles of your grocery store. Be sure to watch the labels for the sugar content, as well as ingredients and watch for anything that indicates sugar, fructose, sucralose, aspartame, splenda, equal or anything of that nature.
I dont like tea.. and I dont like lemons
Try adding lemon to your water or drink unsweetened tea. If you have to have sweetened tea, use stevia or a touch of honey, instead of artificial sweeteners.
