I think there is good advice there. Losing weight is a huge mental adjustment
Where you have to look at food from a different perspective. I always put food on a pedestal, that i would feel better if i 'treated'myself - wether i was depressed or happy. Food controlled me rather than the other way around.
My thoughts would be start a food journal and make notes of what your eating, and why. Start gradually, do research on foods you like and how to substitute as above member has stated. You have to put time into it.
Visualise also how you want to look, i did this everday and it got me excited and pushed me through the tough times. All the best xx
theres so many good and easyyy ways to substitute unhealthy foods for comparable healthy ones... my favs:
boneless buffalo "wings" that are actually coliflour!
u just coat coloflour lightly in flour and hot sauce and bake it, and the consistancy and taste is like a boneless wing but with a fractionnn of the calories!
instead of pasta, make spaggetti squash! its soo good w red sauce or even a lemon sauce with cherry tomatoes! its a little crunchier than pasta but is an awesome substitute! or even brown rice pasta.
and for breakfast, stick a peeled apple in the oven, cut it up when soft and put in a bowl, and throw on lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves and it tastes like apple pie filling! for the calories of one apple!
Hii, I really believe that "diet" is not the answer, but eating healthier is. Diets can cause a lot of problems (in my experience), you start being unhappy, u feel hungry most of the time, ur not as energetic and ur just not getting that body u imagine. And worst of all u might gain back and gain more weight! Instead of starving urself, fill ur plate with healthy fresh food.
See that cupboard/fridge filled with sugar sweet proccessed foo, I suggest u throw them out NOW! Theyre just stopping ur tracks for a better life style. Fill them with beautiful naturally sweet fruit.
:) I hope this might help
