Eating less but no change in weight

Hi,

I have been trying to loose a few extra pounds for a while now. As I did not have much to loose I just started by cutting down on snacks and eating healthier and eliminated alcohol. This has worked for me in the past but is not making any difference now. Have cut down more food now and am not eating my full daily allowance of calories and still no change.  I walk every day and do pilates twice a week.

Am I doing something wrong?Should I eat more and exercise more?

Thanks,
Yvonne

Maybe you should have your thyroid levels checked. Many times, when things we've done in the past to lose weight, don't work, it's because we've developed hypothyroidism.

This happened to me, 4 yrs ago, and I still have to work at getting weight off.

Get tested for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4, to start with.
