Just remember, what works well for some people doesn't work well for everyone. You have to find a groove that fits you. I had gained a lot of weight after I graduated from college. I've lost a lot of it and I still eat fast food and drink regular soda on occasion. But for me, it's easiest to measure out my portions accordng to the package (i use measuring cups and a kitchen scale, espeically for startchy carbs). I also lode my plate with vegetables to fill myself up (I steam frozen veggies in the microwave, i've found it easiest with my schedule). I try to eat healthy and in proporation, but don't beat myself up if i have a slice of pizza or a regular soda. I also weigh myself every morning so i know if i've been indulging a little too much. For me, the easiest way was to make small changes that i could handle instead of a complete overhaul of my life. I hope you find what works for you and can make changes that fit with your life.
Its really easy......... NO FAST FOODS EVER! NO SODAS OR COFFEE OR SMOOTHIES.... and exercise in ways that will burn calories, like jogging or walking for an hour or bike riding and you will be feeling great about the way you look in no time.... honestly!! I have done it, lost 60 pounds and have kept it off for 7years now...
you can do it just be willing...
O.K. let me give you some backround on me...when I was 14 I was very overweight, then at graduation I had a baby, and now at 35, I have 6 more kids and guess what I weigh 120lbs. My secret to being thin is
#1- NEVER DRINK ANYTHING THAT HAS SUGAR IN IT
#2- TAKE A LONG WALK EVERY NIGHT OR DAY (PREFERENCE)
#3- DON'T SIT AROUND, IF YOUR IN YOUR ROOM WATCHING A MOVIE, CLEAN YOUR ROOM, IF YOUR ON THE PHONE, PASE AROUND, DON'T SIT IN THE CHAIR, ALWAYS BE ON THE GO. DO THE LAUNDRY, WASH, FOLD, AND PUT IT AWAY, BURNS CALORIES AND MOM WILL LOVE YOU
#4- CUT THE PORTIONS OF YOUR FOOD DOWN BY HALF, YOU DON'T HAVE TO TURN INTO A HEALTH NUT, I STILL EAT A SMALL CUP OF FULL FAT ICE CREAM EVERY NIGHT BEFORE I GO TO BED. AND BOY DO I LOVE TWIZZLERS!!
#5- TAKE YOUR VITAMINS
THE WEIGHT IS GUARANTEED TO MELT AWAY OVER TIME. BEST OF LUCK
I have had a lot odf sucess with hypnotherapy. You still have to watch what you eat, and preferably exercise, but it really helps with the motivation. There is a free web site at www.free-hypno.com that could get you started to see if you like it. The site is free so you've got nothing to lose
And at what age and why did you gain weight? Just trying to figure out what may have triggered a weight gain and whether you can just eliminate the cause and be fine. Also, is your impending graduation a deadline for you to lose weight and how much time to you have for which goal? Lots of questions, I know....
Hey there...First off, do you exercise? This is the best way to help melt of the pounds quickly. Second, how much weight do you need to lose?
