Sorry I am new here, I am learing , I didnt mean to put this up twice..
Good for you for taking the initiative in being accountable for yourself. Good luck and I will give you as much encouragment as I can.
I wasnt going to weigh until Sunday, but I went today and since sat, I have lost 3 more pounds.
So my current weight is 262, I have so much more to go.
I didn't do good today in my eating, I had over 2000 cal,,, I am just sick when I added it all up.
I went to Hardees and got a south western salad, thinking that it would be better then a cheeseburger,, I was so wrong. It has 1100 cal, and 83 fat grams, can you believe that...
Ok,,, thanks for you encouraging words,
Hi Louhou,
don't beat yourself up too harshly over you messed up. Don't punish yourself. Just think of tomorrow as a new day and give yourself a fresh start. Good luck and don't give up because of one bad day.
It sounds like you are making a good effort to walk
and write down your calories, that is great! I write down
everything that I eat too as I eat it instead of at the end of the day.
I plan some menu options ahead of time
and keep something that can be warmed up available at all times.
I made a list of all the low cal healthy main dishes, salads etc
and refer to that often when planning the next days menu.
(you don't want to get bored with the same food choices)
As the pounds come off you will feel more energy and hope.
Are you keeping a journal of your meals and calorie counts and the time
that you spend walking? It's exciting to track your progress as you
lose weight and start noting the sizes that you shrink into. :)
Well I am at 260, I hope I am not losing to fast, I want to keep it off. I havnt walked in a few days, because my anxiety is really bad right now, but I have been cutting back on my food.
I hope by my surgrey I will be under 250, I know, i know, I will still be overweight, but I think I will feel better.
I need to increase my water, I do good for a day or so, then I go off the ban wagon.
Ok,, hope everybody is doing good,
talk to you later,
Try website Sparkpeople.com. It is a great site I discovered a couple of days ago where you can enter the food you eat and it tracks how many calories, fats, carbs and protein you consume. There are message boards also. Its a pretty neat site.
