Sunday Weigh In - Dec 26,, 2010

Okay, folks, we made it through Thanksgiving, now we've made it through Christmas.  These are the two  major hurdles we had. unless you go all out for New Year's as well.  I don't, so I'm not worried about that.

Anyway, it's time to "tell all", as far as our "Maintain; Don't Gain" challenge, and regular Sunday Weigh in.  My goal was to maintain between 145 and 147; I did not. This is the 4th week in a row, I've weighed in at 150;
3 pounds above my range.  I guess it's good that I'm holding steady, just not where I wanted to be.

Now, it's your turn.  Are you where you thought you would be on the day after Christmas?

I'm making this post short this morning, as we have to go take my Aunt back to her home today; another 3 hrs of sitting in the car, so minimal exercise!!  What else is new??

I hope you've had better luck than I have, at staying within your goal range, but if you haven't, don't fret or be hard on yourself.  Now's the time to get back in the groove and try to meet our goal.

Remember, there are no failures; only set backs.

I think the {{{{{{{{ stress }}}}}}}}}}}}} helped a lot .... when I was younger I would lose weight from stress and the stress of the holidays I think helped to maintain my weight by burning it off since I did both Thanksgiving and xmas this year!

Barb135, its better that the scale same the same then go up though.

my goal was to maintain between 223-225, and my weigh in today was 212.5! so i have lost a total of 30 pounds since the middle of october. i didn't even hold back at all yesterday during christmas dinner. I'm pleased with myself so far. however, my best friend wants me to come down for new year's and have drinks, but i wont because i go way over board and drinks are full of calories and i tend to overeat too. but i'm happy with my results. i haven't been doing anything different than before the maintain challenge started. hope everyone is doing well with their challenge.
