I am underweight but I still have a lot of fat. Please help me!

Hi there.

I am 17-yo, male. I am 6feet2 and I weight 155 pounds. I recently went from 225 to 155 lbs. I gained and lost the weight quite fast, which has left me with some problems:

I am almost underweight on the BMI scale. However, even after all that weight loss, I still carry quite a bit of fat on my stomach, waist and legs. If I pinch my stomach or waight, there's at least 1 inch or more of fat.

The problem is,  the rest of me is very skinny, almost bone-y (like my arms) and showing ribs.

My question is, first of all, how is this possible to have so much fat be so skinny otherwise? Why can't I seem to get rid of this last bit of fat?

What can I do to lose this fat flabby body and tone up without losing more weight?

Higher protein works for some and protein DOES help fill you up and keep you full longer; however, I caution against too much protein.  You need to make sure you get enough vitamin b6 when on a high protein diet.  I, also have found that I have a hard time breaking down protein and I take daily enzymes to help with that.  

All things in moderation.

protien, protien, protien. with a build like urs unfortunatly u may find tht ur skinny with bits a fat here and there. the best way to even urself out if to exercise the bits tht r skinny, but eat the protien to help build the muslces. to get rid of the fat bits on ur stomach do crunches they reali do work. get some weights or better yet go to the gym and talk to them and they would be the best pl to giv u advice on wot to get a betta body

Why did you lose so much weight so fast?  Are you sure the "flab" is actually fat and not excess skin?

What kind of exercising do you do?
