I have done the hcg drop diet and it works awesome but everybody is different and reacts different to different things so I suggest trying itand if you have any reactions then stop. It takes 3 days to get it outta your system. It really is worth trying and it is a homeopathic drop so most people don't have reactions or only have mild ones. I had bad headaches for about 7 days but after that nothing and it really did change my life. I am gonna be starting my second round soon cause it is that good. Good luck!!

Sorry, not 100% on what HCG is, can you explain it?  Are you speaking about drops with the hormone HCG, human chorionic gonadotropin?

In my personal opinion, any time you have to add something artificial to your system you are just asking for trouble.  Years ago, in a fit of desperation, I tried weight loss drops.  They were touted as all natural, ingredients found in nature, and I had a little success with them at first.  When I lost my first 5 pounds in two weeks I was thrilled.  Then I woke up one morning, lifted my head off my pillow, lost all muscle control, bladder control, and went blind.  I was by myself.  After about 10 minutes I had partial muscle control back and launched myself out of bed and pulled myself, with just my arms, to the bathroom as I thought I was going to be sick.  It took 45 minutes for my sight to come back and to regain full control of my body.  I went to the doctor and he said there was nothing wrong with me.  I continued to take the drops.  The following week, when I was showering, it happened again and I dropped to the floor.  Luckily it was a glass enclosed shower or I could have fallen out of the tub.  This time it took an hour.  Again, the doctor told me nothing was wrong but I knew it had to be something in the drops, so I stopped immediately.  It never happened again, but I've had strange, rare problems with my system ever since and no one can figure out why (cancer, non-cancercous brain tumors, etc).

Moral of the story is DON'T PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER just to lose weight.  Find a reasonable diet that works for you, make small changes over time, expect it to take a while, and if things aren't working try something else!
