I dont think you need to pay for anyone to hep you - a personal trainer is good when you are down close to your ideal weight and you need that extra push -
YOU have to make your mind up you want to lose the weight and get fitter for yourself - weight loss is 75% attitude and 25% action.

YOU can do this for YOU...
My plan right now is cutting down portion size, cutting out snacking, drinikng 8-10 glasses a water a day and being in bed resting if not sleeping for 8 hours a night... I have increased my activity in the home, I do a little amount of toning stuff, sit ups, door push ups, leg lifts, side bends etc every day and I walk instead of using the car for short journeys... just increase your movement in little ways in as many little ways as you can.
