Ovulation bleeding, how long is it supposed to last?

Hi, I'm 18, and lately I've noticed some blood in my underwear, and my period is not due for at least a week and a half. I figured it was just ovulation bleeding, but isn't that supposed to like only last a day?
this has been happening on and off for a couple days, and it looks like the fluid is becoming more red and less pink.
Is this normal, how long is it supposed to last, if its not normal, then what is wrong with me?!

hi, there can be many explanations.this thing is known as spotting and the same thing happened to me lasted for about a week and then i started menstruating. It is becoming red that means your periods will be early this time. you should go to a doctor but don't worry it only happens like once next period should not be like this. but i really think you should go to a gyn .
