Cervical cancer? Ovarian cancer? Help!

I'm new here and I need some advice...I'm in horrible pain most days. My periods range from nearly non-existant for 1-2 days to horribly heavy and lasting over a week (With excessive soaking of sanitary products). I am terribly nauseous nearly every day, have horrible (stabbing AND burning) pains in my abdomen, look like I'm 3mths pregnant despite exercise, I pass out frequently, I have really strange, REALLY bad pains in my legs at the time of menses that cause me to not be able to walk very well, I've lost weight even when I'm not dieting, my hair is falling out in piles, my moods swing insanely, my head always hurts, and I feel incessantly weak and always tired. Could anyone suggest what might be going on? I've looked these symptoms up on the net, and get so many varied results...perhaps someone who's had these symptoms and has been diagnosed could help me figure this out. I'm scared and I feel a bit trapped, having no insurance and not being able to afford regular healthcare. I just want to get a handle on this so that if by some miracle I find a clinic that can help me, I can perhaps tell them what's going on other than symptoms. I've had a tubal ligation, and wondered if perhaps this has anything to do with it? It was done 3 1/2 yrs ago, but these problems have gotten worse in the last year.

So can anyone help me figure this out?

Well, I guess sometimes they don't understand our needs! I am a manager at a company, and some of my employees make money, and yet, they get medicaid and food stamps. How old are you? are you trying to concive? Do you thing that you can come to chicago? I mean I can try to help you to find an ob who can help you for less charges. If find someone, I will be happy at least to help to pay for some of the cost.

"OH MY"  we could be twins.  Its like you wrote my symptoms expect my periods are always extremely heavy and painful and now I am having breakthrough bleeding and I will bleed sometimes after a bm (and yes from the front and I do know the diferrence as this is ask from me and is like the Dr don't believe me)  My legs two hurt and  so weak and I too have a terrible time trying to walk.  My Dr said to get in the pool and walk around.  I thought that not going to help me when I have to go grocery shopping witch I avoid like the plague during at least two weeks out of the month.  Sometimes I am afraid that I actually wont make it out to my vechile.

I am overweight though and because of this all I have heard for years now is that all my problems are because I am overweight.  Once I was very upset because my symptoms are real and they really affect my quality of life so I ask the Dr.  If I was thin and I came in with my symptoms what then would your reaction be?  His reply then you wouldn't have those symptoms.

I too don't have insurance and can't afford just trying to find a dr to take me seriously.  I am to the point where I will never see another Dr again.  If you find out anything please keep us informed.

I think you need a thyroid panel ran.  Your TSH level should be under 3.04.  I was losing hair and that's when I found out I have hypothyroidism.  Now, I take a little pill everyday and I feel so much better.  (I had all of your symptoms).

Best wishes.

to many things it could be, like thyroid, fibroids, etc, so like the others said get checked ASAP!

Most of your symptoms sound like a thryoid problem; such as hair loss, mood swings, tiredness, and changes in your menstrual cycle, and weight loss. Also due to the great blood loss you are having it sounds as if you have become anemic, which your body is depleted of iron and essential vitamins, which in some cases could be potentially life threatening, the anemia sounds like it is underlying a possible thyroid problem.
I would also be checked for fybroid cysts in your ovaries, these tiny cysts can burst and cause the excess pain and bleeding although most are  not life threatening they can cause great discomfort.I would most certainly recommend a visit to a doctor a.s.a.p, especially due to the fact you are passing out.
If insurance is your only problem, most hospitals and clinics as well as some dr.'s work out small payment plans that you can afford to pay. (My gram paid $5 dollars a month for 2 years to pay a bill) I would not wait longer to see a dr.. The longer you wait the more serious things become. Better to find things out in early stages before something incredibly serious develops.
Also while you are being treated you can check out your state insurance plan, you'd be surprised at some of the income guidelines and perhaps just may qualify for some sort of medicaid.Your local hospital social worker may be of some assistance in that area. Good Luck. Keep us posted as to your progress.

I agree.  Get to an emergency room ASAP!  There will be plenty of time to figure out how to pay the bills later.  If it is something serious you need to get it treated now!
Best of luck!

Oh boy. Honestly - I would go to the emergency room. Figure out how you'll pay for it later.

Based on your symptoms, it could be something as treatable as thyroid, to as serious as cancer. Weight loss and pain is an incredibly serious symptom and you REALLY need to get medical attention as soon as possible. Tonight even. If it IS cancer, the sooner you treat it, the better chance for a cure.

Honestly. Don't wait.

OH dear, this sounds very horrible. I couldn't begin to suggest what is wrong? My I ask your age?

Do you live in the U.S? In CA you can get medical coverage, I would go to the hospital and see emergency for you issues. then, if you can, go to the medical office and get them to cover your visit, then follow up with a regular doctor. Do you have family that could help you finacially? Friends?

I would highly suggest medical attention as quickly as possible.
