Jelly like discharge & no period?

Sorry for being a bit graphic. Basically I came off the contraceptive pill in mid October, wasn't having sex often for the last 6 months and when I was We'd use a condom. Since then I have slept with 3 people, one with a condom 3-4 weeks ago.. And just over 2 weeks ago the second person took the condom off but didn't ejaculate in me (I know about the risks of precum). I slept with someone else with a condom 2 days ago.
Problem is, I haven't come on my period since I came off the pill.. I understand my body will be confused from the hormonal changes but is this right? I had been on the pill for 4-5 years and my periods were very irregular before I started taking it. Today I have had a very thick jelly like discharge which has just come out slightly pink too, obviously blood. Could this be from the 'vigorous action' from 2 days ago or have I got something to be worried about? Pregnancy.. STI etc
I am hoping to get to the clinic as soon as I can but my work schedule keeps preventing that so I'd just like to put my mind at ease until then if possible. Thanks

Hi, I just found out that I'm 8 weeks pregnant. Which means I conceived at the end of October. I had a normal period at the beginning of November, and no period in December... At around what would have been my period's due date, I had a thick, pink colored discharge.

Either way, I would recommend taking a day off of work and getting to your doctor. It does sound like you may be pregnant, but only a doctor can tell you for sure.

P.S. I had very faint lines on both my HPT and the urine test my doctor did, I got the definitive positive from a blood test.

Please, keep us updated =)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Delayed periods are mostly due to pregnancy. Hence to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
