Hysterectomy (long-past menopause) cause same problems - emotional, etc.??

by pruney, Sep 29, 2005 12:00AM
Menopause was 20 years ago, but because of bleeding, I have had
D&C, cat skans, ultrasounds and MRI.  NOTHING was found.  It seemed that bleeding was stopped when I quit taking Plavix a month or more ago.  However, now it is starting somewhat agsin and a hysterectomy is scheduled for Nov. 2.  I want to know if a hysterectomy after menopause has the usual problems - emotional, etc. as before menopause?

Or could my bleeding be from another medicine? I do use Xanax.
