dark spotting.

Hello,
My names Erin im 20 years old, and ive been with my partner almost 3 years. We never use a condom, but we are always very careful. And this past month i had an irregular period and now for this past week and a bit on and off ive been getting dark spotting like almost blackish looking. It's never much, and along with that im very dizzy, nauseous, tired, and having some cramping here and there almost like i would get with my period. Im not sure what it could be everyone keeps saying im pregnant. What do you think?

There is always a chance to be pregnant if you arn't on any type of bith control. Those are all signs, but then again those are signs for people about to getting their periods. Take a HPT, and if you can go to the docs and let them to a bloodtest.

Could be implantation bleeding - unprotected sex. Some std's may produce dark,
smelly discharge also. Maybe just oxidized blood but you are having other symptoms too. Think because you are concerned, it would be useful to go and get it checked out.

Regarding unprotected sex - there is no such thing as 'being careful' you NEED protection both from STD's and avoiding getting pregnant if this is an issue. Be responsible and encourage your partner to do so too. Protection is available in different forms so you should be able to find a method that suits you both.
