On June 14th I had a d&c completed as a I had a missed miscarriage at 11 wks (fetus was only 8 wks). Before the miscarriage I had a very regular cycle, every 28 days (also before conceiving this time, I had a chemical pregnancy the month prior.... but I still ovulated normally and conceived again the very next month). After the miscarriage it took 34 days for me to have a period. The "period" was really just light spotting and only lasted a day. Second cycle tlasted 31 days, again "period" was more like light spotting and only lasted about a day or so. Third cycle lasted 28 days, I thought finally I had returned to normal, but again very light and only lasted about a day. Finally I just now had my 4th cycle, it was again 28 days long but still very light. This may to TMI and a bit graphic so beware...... THe "period" is light enough that I can't even use a tampon. I could probably get away with a panty liner, but I use pads just in case. Also the discharge doesn't seem like normal icky dark clotted blood. This is more pinkish and is just a thin amount, no clots or anything. I have already made an appointment to see the dr but I am just wondering if anyone else has gone through this? What did your dr do? It's my own personal guess that I am not ovulating.
