I think that you need to see a doctor asap its possible that you have bacterial vaginosis and you need an antibiotic to get rid of it. BV can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease if left untreated so please take this seriously and go to a doctor.

Hi there
It is obviously not your "normal" discharge or you wouldn't be posting on here . You didn't say whether or not the discharge was smelly or not .?

This does sound like vaginitis as opposed to a sexually transmitted disease and if so intercourse will make it worse so please abstain until you have seen your doctor and sorted it out as it will not clear up by itself.

The six most common types of vaginitis are:

Candida or "yeast" infections
Bacterial vaginosis
Trichomoniasis vaginitis
Chlamydia vaginitis
Viral vaginitis
Non-infectious vaginitis.

It is hard to say which one it is but your doctor may take a swab to confirm which one it is.

Hope this helps

Let us know how you get on and try not to worry I don't think it is anything serious...it could even be caused by irritants like bubble bath and washing powder on your knickers . Maybe you have recently started using somrthing new?
