Lump

I have a lump on my vagina, feeling quite embarassed as to why it is there?

I had one there as well and it is very embarrsing does it hurt? mine did but after like 6 or 7 months it like poped or did something and it went away i talked to my doctor about it and she said it was something like a boil and she gave me antibiotics and the rest of it went away and it has never came back

Forget the embarrassment.  Go see your doctor.  I have no idea what it is or why it's there myself, but forget the embarrassment.  It might be nothing, but it's better to just find out for sure.  Any time you find a lump that wasn't there before, no matter where in the body, see your doctor.

First thing I would eliminate the possibility of an std, I'm not trying to scare you but if it is possible rule that out first. I acutally get those alot and no mine aren't stds. It could be something like an ingrown hair or a cyst or a boil which all tend to resolve themselves but sometimes can require lancing. Try not to be embarrassed about it...those kinds of things happen considering it is a warm environment, and most women these days tend to manicure that area to their preferences you know.
